"I cant wait to get started"- New Sunderland Appointed Manager Dick Advocaat

Former Netherlands team coach Dick Advocaat takes over at Sunderland just a day after former Manager Gus Poyet was sacked.

The black cat lying in the 17th position just one point above the Premier League relegation zone. The new manager has this to say after been confirm as Sunderland coach till the end of the season.

According to how it been reported by BBC "We have one aim only now- to climb the table-  and everyone is fully focused on task ahead of us," said the Sunderland chairman Ellis Short.

Advocaat, 67, said "I cant wait to get started."

He (Advocaat) has won domestic league titles in Netherlands, Scotland and Russia.

"Dick has an Incredible CV and vast experience of managing at the very highest levels" said Short.
