Former Liverpool, Celtic and Scotland striker Kenny Dalglish has commend the work of current Celtic manager Ronny Deila for his achievement with the club.
For all but two Celtic managers over the course of the last 127 years, the quest for the Holy Grail of a domestic Treble has ended in failure.
Some may have thought the liquidation of Rangers in 2012 would have opened the door for further periods of Parkhead domination, but Jock Stein and Martin O'Neill remain the only Hoops bosses to win all three of the Scottish game's major prizes in one season.
However, there is a currently a growing belief that Ronny Deila could yet seal an often difficult maiden season in Glasgow by joining Stein (1966-67 and 1968-69) and O' Neill (2000-01) in that ultra-exclusive pantheon of club greats.
The Norwegian has led his side to the brink of making history during his first season in charge of the club, the team are hitting form at the right time. They are unbeaten in 2015 and haven't concede a single goal in 655 minutes stretching back to a 2-1 defeat against Dundee United on December 21.
But Kenny Dalglish would never count himself among the naysayers. The former Celtic striker believes that, should Deila's team sweep the board in 2015, the achievement would rate as highly as the seasons domestic dominance under O'Neill and Stein - who also added the European Cup to his first Treble in 1967.
