Liverpool have announced a new record breaking Kit deal with Boston based firm New Balance who will supply kits and training wear from the start of the 2015/16 season, replacing the current contract with Warrior according to reports.
The Anfield club confirmed it is bigger than any deal they have signed before and see it as a big step forward in terms of global marketing and branding.
A club statement read, "Liverpool products will be sold in more than 500 New Balance retail stores around the globe and will support the manufacturer's growth and entry into the football market."
Report on 90Min New Balance is the parent company of existing supplier Warrior but this represents the first time the sports gaint itself, which employs more than 4,000 people worldwide, has entered the football market.
Liverpool's chief commercial officer Billy Hogan said, " We are thrilled to announce this partnership with one of the world's leading sportswear brands, which is a record-breaking deal for the club.
"Like Liverpool FC, New Balance has more than 100 years of heritage and a global footprint.
"Not only are they well know for their technical innovation across a range of sports but they also have a presence in many countries across the world, which will all feature LFC kit. We are very excited about joining forces with them."
