No contract Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi, has insisted that he will not go below his asking price, if the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) wants to retain him as the national team's coach.
Keshi, whom the Amaju Pinnick-led NFF board has left in the dark since he failed to qualify Nigeria for the just ended Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, stated that not coaching the team would not take anything away from him according to reports.
The big boss continued "Like i have been saying, if i am not coaching Nigeria, it is not going to be the end of the world. If that is their thinking, we might have an agreement for any other person to take it,"
Moreover keshi continue"Coaching Nigeria is a great opportunity because, after playing for 14 years, captaining the Nigerian team and as on of the pioneers of the Flying Eagles, assistant coaches to Bonfrere Jo, Shaibu Amodu, then coming in as the head coach and winning the AFCON after almost 20 years, then thinking of a pay cuy? i feel it is something i have think over."
